Educate Members and Administration officials about the priorities of the fresh produce and floral industry, including labor, organics, supply chain, research, crop protection, risk management, soil health, economic assistance for growers, and the impacts of climate change on agricultural production. Monitor H.R. 7567, the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026, and developments regarding the Farm Bill reauthorization process and educate policymakers on the priorities of the fresh produce and floral industries. Educate Members on the importance of full funding for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) in the FY 2027 Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations bill.

Educate policymakers regarding food safety issues related to the fresh produce industry. Monitor regulations related to nutrition.

Monitor issues related to immigration and agriculture labor proposals that may impact the fresh produce industry.

Educate Members and the Administration about the pork supply chain; advocate for pork producers due to economic harm from supply chain and other market disruptions; and educate policymakers about emerging infectious diseases in the pork industry. Monitor and advise on policy developments pertaining to market oversight and competition matters, including the revocation of the Biden Administration's Executive Order on Promoting Competition in the American Economy, the Packers and Stockyards regulation, and other relevant legislative efforts. Monitor USDA FSIS swine modernization efforts. Monitor the development of the FY27 Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration and Related Agencies Appropriations bill; and advocate for funding for the U.S. Swine Health Improvement Plan. Monitor the Farm Bill reauthorization process and H.R. 7567, the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026; and educate Members on industry priorities, including on the pork supply chain. Monitor regulations related to nutrition.

Educate Members and staff about The Campbell's Company business and economic footprint; Monitor the Farm Bill reauthorization process, including H.R. 7567, the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026.

Monitor and discuss proposals impacting the consumer packaged goods industry.
