The data
What Gov Relations holds right now, refreshed nightly from the Senate’s filing system, through Apr 15, 2024.
What each filing contains
Every quarterly report discloses the registrant (the firm or organization doing the work), the client, income or expenses for the quarter, the general issue areas drawn from the official list of 79 codes, a free-text description of the work, the individual professionals involved with any covered government positions they have held, and the federal agencies and chambers contacted. Registrations additionally mark the start of a relationship, and terminations mark the end.
Coverage
Federal filings from 2024 forward, growing nightly. The backfill of prior years runs continuously until complete, so counts climb throughout the day. State registries are planned. For sourcing rules, identity matching, and the blur policy, see the methodology.
