Opposition to the extension of the Trump Tax Cuts which overwhelmingly provided tax relief to the wealthy and corporations. Supports permanent, fully refundable, monthly Child Tax Credit to help end child poverty in America. Supports a permanent, expanded Earned Income Tax Credit to ensure no worker is taxed into poverty. Supports the Treasury and IRS new Direct File pilot project.

NETWORK Lobby strongly supports increased vouchers for families and individuals to access housing in FY 25 Appropriation packages. NETWORK Lobby strongly supports "Yes in God's Backyard" (S. 3910) which would provide technical assistance and grants for faith-based organizations, institutions of higher education, and local governments to increase the supply of affordable rental housing, and for other purposes. NETWORK Lobby supports the Home Act which creates a public option to meet the needs of people and communities that arent being served by the private market. These new options would be supported by a housing development authority, which will function as a public bank and developer and work directly with state, local and Tribal governmental agencies, mission-driven nonprofits, community land trusts and public housing authorities to build, rehabilitate, and maintain millions of sustainable, permanently affordable homes.

NETWORK strongly supports the Black Maternal Health Momnibus Act which includes the following individual bills: 1. Make critical investments in social determinants of health that influence maternal health outcomes, like housing, transportation, and nutrition. 2. Extend WIC eligibility in the postpartum and breastfeeding periods. 3. Provide funding to community-based organizations that are working to improve maternal health outcomes and promote equity. 4. Increase funding for programs to improve maternal health care for veterans. 5. Grow and diversify the perinatal workforce to ensure that every mom in America receives maternal health care and support from people they trust. 6. Improve data collection processes and quality measures to better understand the causes of the maternal health crisis in the United States and inform solutions to address it. 7. Support moms with maternal mental health conditions and substance use disorders. NETWORK also supports passage of a fully refundable, inclusive, monthly Child Tax Credit to reduce child poverty in America. NETWORK supports supplemental spending for WIC and for childcare services.
