Free and fair elections are the hallmark of our democracy. NETWORK strongly supports the following bills: the Support Our Election Workers Act which responds to the critical need to improve the support and retention of election workers; the Protecting Election Administration from Interference Act which responds to the ongoing need to expand protections for election workers and strengthens protections for election infrastructure; the John Lewis Voting Rights Act and the Freedom to Vote Act. NETWORK opposes H.R. 4563 - the American Confidence in Elections Act.

NETWORK Lobby strongly supports efforts to ensure that the wealthy and corporations are paying their fair share of taxes. This includes support for: Robust funding for the Internal Revenue Service to allow the agency to ensure the wealthy and corporation meet their tax obligations. Support for the Billionaire Minimum Tax Support for closing the carried interest tax loophole. Opposition to the extension of the Trump Tax Cuts which overwhelmingly provided tax relief to the wealthy and corporations. Supports permanent, fully refundable, monthly Child Tax Credit to help end child poverty in America. Supports a permanent, expanded Earned Income Tax Credit to ensure no worker is taxed into poverty. Supports the Treasury and IRS new Direct File pilot project.

NETWORK Lobby strongly supports increased vouchers for families and individuals to access housing in FY 25 Appropriation packages.

NETWORK Lobby urges Congress to pass FY25 appropriation bills that invest in the protection of the planet and in vulnerable people so all can thrive. We call for increased funding for housing, healthcare, election protection assistance, job training, and community support for returning citizens. NETWORK opposed increased funding for the military and wasteful border militarization.

NETWORK strongly opposes H.R. 2794, the Border Reinforcement Act of 2023. NETWORK strongly opposes HR 2, Secure the Border Act of 2023 NETWORK opposes increased funding for militarization of the US border through the Homeland Security appropriations bill or any supplemental funding request.
