Legislation to provide compensation to fishermen for impacts from offshore wind energy development. Efforts to avoid impacts of offshore wind energy development on the shrimp fisheries. Legislation addressing IUU fishing, seafood fraud and forced labor. Legislation to direct shrimp duties to fund FDA testing and USDA procurement, to require FDA to destroy contaminated seafood imports, to expand fishery disaster assistance to include economic causes and to streamline assistance process, to prevent US funds being used to finance foreign shrimp farms, to increase tariffs on shrimp imports from India, to expand USDA programs to include seafood.
