Specific issues
IHA advocated to our Members of Congress as well as to CMS on issues related to: Site-neutral policies, 340B, hospital finances, workforce concerns, regulatory relief and other similar topics related to hospital sustainability and operations. IHA also submitted comment to CMS on their proposed rule on the Calendar Year 2025 Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System, Calendar Year 2025 Home Health Prospective Payment System, and the Calendar Year 2025 Physician Fee Schedule. Additionally, IHA has submitted comment to the Department of Homeland Security and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency on a proposed rule pertaining to cyber incident reporting, as well as the HHS National Coordinator of Health Information Technology on a proposed rule pertaining to health data, technology and interoperability.

IHA also submitted comment to CMS on their proposed rule on the Fiscal Year 2025 Inpatient Prospective Payment System and comment on the request for information from HHS, DOJ and the FTC on consolidation in health care.
