ACCA promoted Career and Technical Education Awareness Act (H.R. 8638). This legislation would increase the visibility of career and technical education (CTE) programs by requiring the U.S. Department of Education to publish and maintain up-to-date information on its website about CTE programs and available funding. Additionally, it amends the FAFSA application process to include a summary of CTE programs and an acknowledgment signature box, ensuring that applicants are aware of CTE as a viable alternative to a traditional four-year degree.
American Innovation in Manufacturing Act (Public Law 116-260) regarding HFC phasedown. ACCA supports a safe transition for contractors and consumers alike, given the flammable nature of A2L refrigerants, which will be replacing HFCs in the marketplace. ACCA also supports an orderly transition in order to minimize market disruptions.
