H.R. 2864 - Countering CCP Drones Act; INFB is opposed as this legislation would limit INFB members ability to use and buy drones that make up a significant portion of the drone market. These drones are important to farmers and small businesses that utilize drones for on farm needs.

H.R. 4417 - The Ending Agricultural Trade Suppression Act (EATS); INFB supports the EATS act as a legislative fix that would prevent states from impeding agricultural trade from other states within the U.S. This is in response to the unfavorable Prop 12 ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court. A version of this legislation was also included in the House farm bill and is a major point in INFBs support of the bill.

H.R. 8467 - The Farm, Food and National Security Act; INFB supports and believes the bill improves on the current farm bill and will provide our members with the certainty they need.

INFB is supportive of appropriations language that would cap the H-2A AEWR and limit the ability to enforce a 2023 DOL rule regarding H-2A occupations on farm. Getting this language passed through in the upcoming appropriations bill would provide farmers that depend on H-2A labor the certainty they need to continue their operation in a way that doesnt include continues exorbitant wage raises.

INFB supports an extension of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act. INFB believes that tax reform will be a major topic in the 119th Congress, due to the bills 2025 expiration date. Its critical that these tax cuts be extended to help support family farms.

Farm Bill - INFB plans to support the 2024 five year "Farm Bill" that sets national agriculture, nutrition, conservation, and forestry policy. INFB discussed the importance of maintaining these programs and advocated for INFB 2024 farm bill priorities. INFB advocated for the farm bill to be passed this Congress.
