Advocated in support of transportation reauthorization legislation, including provisions in H.R. 8870, the BUILD America 250 Act, to maintain transportation funding levels and strengthen road and bridge infrastructure, traffic safety, impaired driving prevention, passenger vehicle safety, and truck size and weight safety regulations. Advocated for implementation of the HALT Drunk Driving Act law that was passed in 2021 and weighing in on these issues with Congress and DOT. Advocated against the Cloud, Maloy, and Gluesenkamp Perez amendment to H.R. 8870, the BUILD America 250 Act, which sought to restrict NHTSAs ability to use funds for implementation of the HALT impaired driving technology rulemaking.

Advocated against the Perry-Massie amendment to H.R. 7148, the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2026, which sought to restrict NHTSAs ability to use appropriated funds for research and implementation of the HALT rulemaking.
