Requested additional FY25 Appropriations in PE 0603801N (Office of Naval Research's (ONR) High Energy Laser Programs as well as, Hypersonic Defeat and Counterattack Capabilities. The overall effort was for two distinct efforts. The first received appropriation legislative funding to continue previously funded USG research on a Coherently-Combined Fiber Laser Array without Wavefront Sensing effort with ONR that is what continued to be pursued during this reporting period. No FY25 funding was provided for a second R&D effort to follow-on to FY24 funding for accelerating development of advanced seeker technology for offensive hypersonic missiles, also with ONR.
Seeking Additional FY25 DoD Authorization and Appropriations in PE 0605828F to fund the Digital Transformation of Air Force combat Aircraft Gun Systems. This funding will allow immediate development and delivery of digital models for the Air Force's aircraft gun systems.
