GSL Federal Strategies lobbied regarding federal tariff issues

Jura is looking to expand its United States Production and expand both is manufacturing and workforce within the United States. The company has equipment that is unique to their processing needs that needs to be transferred from foreign counties to the United States. Given their investment in U.S. production, Jura is looking for relief as it relates to tariffs on their imported materials.

Identify federal funding opportunities to which Guthrie can apply and receive needed funding for various initiatives, projects, and benefits to Guthrie. Work with stakeholders at the federal level to identify ways in which rural healthcare access can be streamlined and provided to patients that dont have nearby access to healthcare options. Work with federal leaders to study and propose changes and or funding opportunities as it relates to mortality, morbidity, and social and emotional well being of women before, during, and after pregnancy. Work with federal leaders to identify potential solutions to the healthcare staffing shortage, especially in rural health systems like Guthrie.
