World to update and inform Senators Durbin's and Duckworth's offices on the clients ongoing concern about the US Army Corps of Engineers plan to expand their toxic waste site on the Lake Michigan.
Provided updates to both Senator Durbin and Congressman Sorensen and staff regarding on gerneral hospital activities, such as patient flow into the emergency department and and insight into operations in the expanded NICU unit.
Met with Sen. Durbin's staff to discuss the need for clearer FDA guidelines/regulations regarding vaping products.
Ongoing work with both Senators Duckworth and Durbin and their offices regarding the environmental impact of the Corps of Engineers plan to construct a toxic waste dump on the shores of Lake Michigan in Chicago's 10th Ward.
Did not lobbying for or against and specific issue/legislation, but we did provide Cong. LaHood with a tour of our hospital in Rockford, IL.
