Federal Fiscal Year 2026 funding for CDC Section 317 Immunization Programs; pandemic and infectious diseases and public health funding at HHS; Drafted a report proposing the inclusion of Community Health Worker services in Medicaid and Medicare payment models, allowing Federally Qualified Health Centers and Rural Health Clinics to bill for vaccine-related services, closing the gap in Medicare for vaccine coverage; and updating the Vaccine Injury Compensation Program. Resources were also drafted and provided to offices and committees related to the the Senate confirmation of the HHS Secretary.

Support for the continued coverage of ACIP recommended adult vaccines without cost sharing in Medicare Advantage and Part D. Support for the U.S. vaccine safety systems.

Appropriations for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and other agencies and programs within the Dept. of Health and Human Services; the Vaccines for Children program, Vaccines for Adults program, and other policies to increase access to all recommended vaccines for all people without cost to patients; the Influenza Act; the PREVENT HPV Cancers Act; the Vaccine Injury Compensation Modernization Act and Vaccine Access Improvement Act; the Community Health Worker Access Act; supporting pharmacists, nurses, and Community Health Workers as vaccinators in Medicaid and Medicare payment models; dedicated funding for vaccine services at Indian Health Services.
