Educate Members of Congress about the importance of the food and beverage industry to the U.S. economy. Monitor regulations related to nutrition, including those contained in the National Strategy on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health.

Monitor the Farm Bill reauthorization process, including the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2024 (H.R. 8467) and the Rural Prosperity and Food Security Act (Senate bill), including the impacts of the sugar supply chain.

Educate members and Administration officials about the priorities of the fresh produce and floral industry, including labor, organics, supply chain, research, crop protection, risk management, and the impacts of climate change on agricultural production. Monitor developments regarding the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2024 (H.R. 8467) and the Rural Prosperity and Food Security Act (Senate draft) and educate policymakers on the priorities of the fresh produce and floral industries. Monitor the development of the FY 2025 Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Bill.
