EU-U.S. trade and digital trade matters, including preparation for Q2 2026 engagement regarding the EU-U.S. trade agreement / trade framework (including implementation, market openness, tariff predictability, non-tariff barriers, and related economic-security issues); the U.S. Section 301 investigations on Industrial Excess Capacity, including concern regarding inclusion of the European Union and related written-response / consultation issues; the EU-U.S. cybersecurity mutual recognition agreement and related digital/cyber implementation under the trade framework; and trade- and market-access aspects of the American AI Exports Program / AI Export Program, including trusted allied participation, commercial deployment, investment conditions, and openness to trusted partners.

Telecommunications and secure connectivity policy, including preparation for Q2 2026 engagement regarding U.S.-EU cooperation on trusted telecom supply chains, secure connectivity in third countries, and next-generation network policy; NTIA-related issues including the Global Coalition on Telecommunications 6G Security and Resilience Principles, interoperability, and supply-chain resilience, and 5G/6G and AI-native telecom infrastructure; and related transatlantic telecommunications issues including the EU Digital Networks Act, investment conditions for next-generation connectivity, and open, interoperable, and trusted telecom infrastructure among allied partners.

U.S.-EU foreign relations and transatlantic digital diplomacy, including preparation for Q2 2026 engagement regarding the U.S. Department of State Bureau of Cyberspace and Digital Policys priorities on digital policy, standards, and emerging technology; U.S.-EU cooperation on secure connectivity in third countries and broader transatlantic technology cooperation among trusted partners; Washington-Brussels digital dialogue and related diplomatic coordination on AI, cyber, and digital policy; allied coordination around the Tech7 / G7 Digital Ministerial and related transatlantic technology deliverables; and broader U.S.-EU strategic coordination on digital sovereignty, critical technologies, and the Pax Silica initiative as they affect transatlantic relations.
