In 2016, CMS released guidance clarifying that bowel preps are included in that requirement. Health plans havent been following the low and have been engaging with Congress on a Congressional letter urging CMS to act by clarifying that all FDA approved bowel preps need to be covered. We all met with the listed agencies and asked for the change directly.
