Oppose the nomination of Kash Patel to serve as Director of the FBI. Oppose the nomination of Harmeet Dhillon to serve as Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights at the Justice Department. Oppose any Continuing Resolution that removes the Washington DCs longstanding authority to spend its locally raised tax dollars and manage its own budget. Support the Washington, D.C. Admission Act, to make Washington, D.C. a state (S. 51 / H.R. 51). Request that Attorney General Pam Bondi preserve and protect the independence and integrity of the legal profession, including opposing the use of the federal government to attack lawyers, law firms, and legal organizations for engaging in good faith representation of their clients.

Support the U.S. Election Assistance Commissions creation of a digital accessible form filler tool on voter.gov, especially with improvements, as a failsafe for voter-eligible citizens who have difficulty accessing voter registration applications through their own states, in keeping with Executive Order 14019. Support the Washington, D.C. Admission Act, to make Washington, D.C. a state (S. 51 / H.R. 51).

Oppose the Equal Representation Act (S. 3659 / H.R. 7109) which would require the U.S. Census Bureau to exclude noncitizens from the congressional apportionment calculation after each census - an action that would violate the 14th Amendment.
