- Increased funding for federal HIV programs in the FY27 appropriations process. These programs include the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program, core HIV prevention activities at the CDC Division of HIV Prevention, all Ending the HIV Initiative Epidemic Programs, the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS program, the Minority AIDS Initiative, and the viral hepatitis, sexually transmisted infection, tuberculosis, and opioid related infectious disease lines within the CDC's National Center for HIV, Viral Hepatitis, STD, and TB Prevention. - Timely allocation of funding for federal HIV programs listed above from the FY26 appropriations process.

- Support for efforts to prevent the spread of injection drug use related HIV outbreak in Bangor, Maine. - Extension of and new Notice of Funding Opportunity for CDC Comprehensive High-Impact HIV Prevention Programs for Community-Based Organizations (PS21-2102) - Inclusion of people living with HIV under the definiton of medical frailty related to Medicaid work reporting requirements as outlined in H.R. 1, An act to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of H. Con. Res. 1

Issues related to the health and wellbeing of people living with and affected by HIV, and people impacted by substance use. This includes appropriations advocacy around the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program, infectious disease prevention at the CDC, the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS Program, the Minority AIDS Initiative, and the Ending the HIV Epidemic Initiative. Other issue areas include support for Medicaid and Medicare, the Affordable Care Act, harm reduction, substance use disorder treatment and prevention at SAMHSA.
