Continue to monitor the Farm Bill Reauthorization, especially with respect the FIFRA section dealing with insecticide, fungicide and rodenticide matters. Reached out to the FTC regarding their "click to cancel" proposal; track EPA pesticide funding; monitor and update on elections.
Advancing health system legislative and regulatory issues including: programs to reduce health disparities; the development of a collaborative, interdisciplinary translational cancer research program; expand access to specialized health care through telehealth; the importance of developing advanced function fabrics for our armed services; and the role of computational medicine in understanding of disease onset and progression.
