S.2767 - SSI Savings Penalty Elimination Act The asset limits for people with disabilities have not changed for decades, and those who receive SSI can not save money to be financially responsible. People with disabilities on SSI can not marry because their SSI would be reduced a single SSI recipient can only have $2,000 in assets and a couple who are both on SSI would be limited to $3,000 in total.

S.3748 - Accessible Voting Act of 2024 Although voting accessibility has come a long way, barriers still exist for people with disabilities. The act would create an office of accessible voting to help guide and create more space and training for all involved.
