Specific issues
NDAA policy language to enable innovation in 3D printing technology for seawalls to be considered was discussed and submitted. Two defense appropriations were submitted for seawall construction.
Assessment of feasibility of airport facility and transportation expansion opportunities in the City of Palmdale. Dialogue familiarizing past efforts to ascertain clarity from DoD regarding their sentiments towards a municipal airport and logistics/transportation enhancements for employees at the Air Force facility and community at large.
Working with USDA, FSIS division to determine consumer awareness enhancements of food labeling for cured meat products. Engaging Members of Congress for the same priorities, as well as familiarity of FFP and its role in job creation, innovation and domestic production, etc. Addressed concerns related to tariff impact on production cost and consumers for coffee and tea production facilities. Developed and discussed report language submission for truth in labeling for cured meat products.
