2026 Farm Bill conservation and precision irrigation policy, including EQIP baseline funding, a targeted fix to the EQIP irrigation history requirement for precision irrigation technologies, and concepts from the PRECISE Act (H.R. 6143 / S. 1616), Precision Agriculture Loan Act (H.R. 3211 / S. 1618), and Increased TSP Access Act of 2025 (H.R. 575 / S. 156); FY27 appropriations for NRCS Conservation Technical Assistance, USDA ARS irrigation research, NIFA/AFRI precision irrigation research and extension, and Bureau of Reclamation WaterSMART and Title XVI funding; and support for the Supporting Innovation in Agriculture Act of 2025 (H.R. 1705).

EPA WaterSense and related landscape irrigation policy, including support for sustaining WaterSense as a voluntary program; FY27 appropriations for EPA WaterSense, the Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Funds, and WIFIA; support for greater federal emphasis on municipal water reuse for irrigation; and support for the Water Conservation Rebate Tax Parity Act (H.R. 1871 / S. 857) and the Advancing Water Reuse Act (H.R. 2940).
