Contacts in support of retaining all current pro-life appropriations riders and maintaining funding levels of certain riders in FY25 appropriations. Contacts in support of new riders including those related regulation of chemical abortion drugs, paying for elective health abortions at Veterans Affairs, and others related to defunding the Department of Defense policy to pay for abortion-related travel. Contacts regarding PEPFAR reauthorization over whether federal funds are going to funding recipients who also promote abortion. Contacts regarding MOC letter urging the WHO to refrain from adding the Center for Reproductive Rights as a health organization with special status.

Contacts regarding strengthening guidance to providers that it is discriminatory to fail to offer suicide prevention services in states where assisted suicide is legal. Contacts regarding strengthening guidance to providers against steering patients away from treatment. Contacts regarding prescription drug reform, so as not to prevent people from accessing current life-saving medication, and prevent new innovative medications from coming to market. Contacts in support of H.485 to ban the use of QALYs to deny life-saving medical treatment on the basis of disability. Contacts in support of Simon's Law requiring providers to inform at least one parent or legal guardian of a physicians intent to institute a DNR both orally and in writing and providing either parent with authority to refuse consent for a DNR. Contacts in regards to legislation and resolutions on IVF, to the extend they might impact abortion policy. No position taken. Contacts in opposition to the so-called Right to IVF Act (S.4445) due to a definition of assisted reproductive technology that is so expansive, it can be reasonably interpreted to impose a new right to human cloning, the genetic engineering of embryos including human-animal hybrids, or chimeras. Contacts in opposition to the so-called "Right to Contraception Act" (S. 4381) which goes far beyond contraception (NRLC takes no position on contraception), and includes provisions related to the funding of abortion providers and contains language that could expand the use of drugs to induce an abortion weeks or months into a pregnancy.
