Discussed general Education issues relating to HBCUs specifically with the Executive Director of the White House Initiative on HBCUs.

Discussed general economic development issues with select members of congress regarding the State of South Carolina and SCSU in particular.

Discussed general education issues select members of the south carolina delegation.

Discussed general government related issues with select congressional offices.

Discussed the state of the pending Transportation Center to be housed at SCSU with Congressional office

Discussed with Senate and Congressional offices about SCSUs upcoming 2026-27 tentative budget; State Senator Kent Williams and I visited all of South Carolinas congressional offices, where I made a formal introduction as SCSUs federal lobbyist. We shared the highlights of the University the challenges of addressing our aging infrastructure. I made select members of our congressional delegation aware of SCSUs grant application launching the Center for AI in Education (CAIE) and asking for letters of support. I continued to meet with members of congress regarding the appropriations process and specifically gaining access to appropriations portals on the House and Senate sides.
