Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2024. Title one (Commoditites) of the farm bill: ARC and PLC programs and payments. Title Two (conservation): CRP and EQUIP programs. Title three (trade): support of the doubling of MAP and FMD dollars. Title eleven (crop insurance): support of the crop insurance program and increasing federal support in premium support. Title twelve (miscellaneous): a fix to Prop. 12, in regard to interstate commerce when it comes to livestock production. The Rural Prosperity and Food Security Act. Spent time working with Senate Ag cmte staff understanding the framework of the bill. Specifically, focused on crop insurance, beginning farmer credits, loan and interest rates, a fix to California's prop 12. Prop 12 sets guidelines and rules across the country for how livestock is raised. Our focus was a fix to the interstate commerce of this rule.
