HR 2433 - Fairness for Rural Teaching Hospitals Act of 2023: the goal of this bill is to fix a CMS calculation error that causes teaching hospitals that are also Medicare Dependent Hospitals (MDH) to not receive full funding under both programs. This effectively disincentivizes certain hospitals from having Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs.
