I discussed my company that is a global solar manufacturer and the need for Permitting and Transmission Reform for Clean Energy Advancements. There are no bills that I specifically asked for a vote, but if there is an opportunity to bring up permitting during the Lame Duck period then we strongly hope something can get passed. I specifically avoided discussing specific bills as we trust Congress to negotiate among the packages out there.
Requested continued congressional support for the Advanced Manufacturing Tax Credits including in the Inflation Reduction Act.
I met with Congressional staffers to ask for their continued support for the Advanced Manufacturing Tax Credits in the Inflation Reduction Act. There was no bills mentioned, only to continue supporting these types of renewable energy tax credits which have been around since the 2000s.
