Advocate for passage of the Medicare Portability bill HR 7442 (2024) legislation introduced by Guam Del.James Moylan and NY Rep. Espaillat HR 9054 that would extend Medicare coverage to the Philippines for elderly Filipino Americans and expats who choose reside there or 11 selected countries. If legislation is enacted it would greatly reduce Medicare costs to CMS and taxpayers and provide affordable caregiving to disabled American expats.

Espaillat similar bill (HR 9054 in May 2026) that would extend Medicare coverage to Philippines for Filipino American elderly who choose retire in the Philippines and to greatly reduce Medicare costs.

Seek official recognition of 50,000 Filipino Amerasian children of US military fathers left in the Philippines and provide them educational, healthcare benefits, job training and opportunities from State Department humanitarian healthcare $50 Million annual funds that were announced in January 2026.

1) advocate for long term Medicare Portability legislation for elderly Filipino Americans to affordably retire in the Philippines, thereby reduce Medicare costs and caregiver expenses. 2) seek recognition and economic opportunities for the well-being of estimated 50,000 Filipino Amerasians children abandoned by their American military fathers in the Philippines by tapping U.S. State Department humanitarian assistance. 3) amplify Filipino American national community interests and providing resources to facilitate their socio-economic empowerment.
