Working on appropriations provisions that prevent the Department of Justice from interfering in state legal cannabis programs (both medical and adult use), allowing JAG Bryne funding to be used for expungements, banking language, various language proposals allowing veterans to access cannabis, fairness in federal drug testing, language protecting tribal sovereignty on cannabis decisions, and language promoting further research into cannabis.
