Support for reauthorization of Miscellaneous Tariff Bill (MTB), Generalized System of Preferences (GSP), including India's reinstatement to the GSP program, and the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA); support for U.S. trade agenda that includes market access and lifting of tariffs and regulatory barriers; support for mandatory due diligence legislation and programs to address deforestation and supply chains, including S. 3371; support for operations of U.S. companies in foreign markets.

Support for the Pet Food Uniform Regulatory Reform Act of 2024 (HR 7380), which shifts authority for regulating pet food labelling from states to the federal government (whole bill). Support increased funding for FDA food ingredient safety programs and enhanced reassessment activities. Support for FDA's New Era of Smarter Food Safety initiative. Engaged on status and progress of FDA and USDA's sodium reduction initiatives. Provided comments on FDA's front-of-package nutrition labeling initiative and added sugars reduction initiatives. Engaged on process enhancements for review of new pet food ingredients. Engaged on advancements in control of pet food contaminants.
