LUNDS FISHERIES

● Continue to monitor and report to Client on forced labor issues related to U.S. seafood imports; provide Client with new draft legislation for review; reach out to Hill staff for information

● Report to Client on final FY2024 FFP funding levels; gather FY2025 data on FFP from NOAA; file Client FY2025 FFP requests

● Review PRO Act (H.R. 20 & S. 567) legislation for Client; review Working Waterfront draft legislation for Client, provide feedback to Hill staff on Senate draft; review FISH Wellness Act, provide feedback to Hill staff on House staff; review H.R. 6235 and reach out to Hill staff to discuss legislation ● Continue to monitor developments related to potential vessel speed rules by NOAA for the protection of North Atlantic Right Whales; provide Client with NOAA-BOEM Offshore Wind Strategy to protect Right Whales; provide Client with opportunity to comment on draft Senate Offshore Wind legislation ● Advise Client on Fisheries Finance Program (FFP) opportunities; share NOAA announcement on the program; provide Client with advice for commenting on NOAAs data confidentiality proposed rule; review NOAAs final 2024 MMPA List of Fisheries ● Participate in Hill staff committee meeting on national fisheries issues ● Provide Client with opportunity to comment on proposed USCG shipping fairways
