In addition, JCN has lobbied in support of the following legislation that would have a tremendous impact on small business: S. 1411, Prove It Act, which would ensure small businesses have a voice in the rulemaking process by forcing federal agencies to demonstrate that any new regulation is compliant with existing laws by considering both the direct and indirect costs placed on small businesses. H.R. 2767/S. 1243, Small Business Investment Act of 2023, which would dramatically increase private sector investment in American small businesses by rewarding investors for supporting small business. Support H.R. 2, Secure the Border Act of 2023 which would take steps to secure the boarder.

Support H.R. 5403 and S. 3801, the "CBDC Anti-Surveillance State Act," which would prohibit a Federal Reserve bank from offering products or services directly to an individual, maintaining an account on behalf of an individual, or issuing a central bank digital currency (i.e., a digital dollar) directly or indirectly to an individual. Further, The Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System would be prohibited from using a central bank digital currency to implement monetary policy or from issuing a central bank digital currency.

Support House FY 24 Labor, HHS, and Education Appropriations bill, which reduces spending and includes provisions to prevent the administration from implementing regulations in development concerning independent contractors and joint employers. Support Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2024 H.R. 8035, Ukraine Security Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2024 (Rep. Cole (R-OK): The bill provides FY 204 supplemental appropriations for federal departments and agencies to respond to the conflict in Ukraine. Among other things, it requires that some of the foreign aid funding be in the form of loans that must be repaid to the United States.

Support S.J. Res 49 and H.J. Res. 98 resolutions to overturn Department of Labor Joint Employer Rule. Support S.J. Res 63 and H.J. Res. 116 resolutions to overturn Department of Labor Independent Contractor Rule. Support S. 1201/H.R. 2700, the Employee Rights Act, which would modernize our nations labor policies to match the needs of the 21st century worker and workforce by promoting growth and innovation, ensuring that our laws protect workers rather than union bosses, and allowing Americans to take home more of the money they earn. Support S. 991, the National Labor Relations Board Reform Act, which would end the partisanship by the NLRB by increasing the number of Board members from five to six evenly split between republicans and democrats; imposing new term limits for Board members; require four Board members to approve all decisions; restrain the NLRBs General Counsel and encourage quick resolution of cases before the Board. Support H.R. 1163/S. 1587, the Protecting Taxpayers and Victims of Unemployment Fraud Act, which would address fraud and overpayments of pandemic unemployment insurance benefits, including by providing incentives for states to investigate and recover overpayments of these benefits.
