INNOCENCE PROJECT

Conducted outreach regarding the need for forensic science reform, including the establishment of and support for federal capacity to develop research, establish standards, and oversee conduct in the field of forensic sciences. Advocated for appropriations to support the expansion of forensic science research and standard-setting. Advocated for strengthened, science-centered forensic science research and standard-setting mechanisms in the federal government.
