American Indian and Alaska Native Tribes and Villages have among them, many of the poorest counties in American. Economic Development is of great import. Working cooperatively with the legislative branch on how to use federal resources to advance economic development in Indian country.

Many member of congress have very little contact with American Indian Tribes, we work to educate members on issues unique to tribal governments and work cooperatively to identify solutions.

Tribal governments have issues similar to many state and local governments, however, they do not have a tax base to address these issues. We work to educate members on how to address the unique needs to tribal governments.
