TBD Keeping Kids Covered Act The Keep Kids Covered Act(attached) would require states to provide multi-year CE for children with Medicaid or CHIP coverage. This includes continuous coverage until age 6 (with the ability to transfer from CHIP to Medicaid if eligibility changes) and then a 24-month continuous coverage period for eligible children ages 6-18. The bill would also require the states to keep individuals informed of their health coverage during the CE period, and to keep up-to-date contact information.
