DIALYSIS PATIENT CITIZENS

Urge Congress to provide access to Medigap for all ESRD patients under 65 years of age; Protect organ donors by urging passage of the living donor legislation; Protect dialysis patient access to charitable premium assistance; Support ESRD care coordination; Encourage support for improved kidney research and treatment; Support increased oversight of Organ Procurement Organizations; Support H.R. 5027/S. 4469 the Chronic Kidney Disease Improvement in Research and Treatment Act; Assist the Administration about prioritizing prevention of kidney disease and home dialysis; Support H.R. 6860 -The Restore Protections for Dialysis Patients Act to protect access to private insurance; Urge the Administration to provide adequate reimbursement to address the ongoing staffing shortages at dialysis centers; and Urge the Administration to provide appropriate reimbursement to increase dialysis patient access to new and innovative therapies. Urge passage of H.R. 5074/S. 4510 - The Kidney Patient Act that would delay the move of oral-only ESRD drugs into the ESRD bundle until 2033.
