In support of the EITC Age Parity Act (H.R. 5689) which expands the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) to include those without children over the age of 65 and under the age of 25 who otherwise qualify for the benefit. In support of the EITC for Older Workers Act (H.R. 9361), which removes the upper age limit for Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) eligibility. In support of the "Improve and Enhance the Work Opportunity Tax Credit Act (H.R. 6833) to increase the tax credit for hiring and retaining specific communities of job seekers. In support of the "Credit for Caring Act" (S. 3702/H.R. 7165), which would create a non-refundable federal tax credit for eligible working family caregivers.
In support of the Essential Workers for Economic Advancement Act (H.R. 3734) which creates a non-immigrant visa program for high demand, short-supply industries in metropolitan areas facing a critical labor shortage. In support of the Asylum Seeker Work Authorization Act (S. 255, H.R. 1325) which would allow asylum seekers to receive authorization as quickly as 30 days after applying for asylum. General support for streamlining refugee and asylum seeker entry and their ability to enter the workforce.
