Outreach and advocacy regarding wildlife conservation and animal welfare, including legislation related to the use of body-grip traps (H.R. 5217), banning the private possession of primates (no bill number), phasing out mink fur farms in the U.S. (H.R. 3783), ending captivity of certain marine mammals (H.R. 7145), restricting U.S. trophy hunting (H.R. 7795), and federal resources for confiscated wildlife (no bill number). Outreach to House and Senate offices and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service on illegally imported long-tailed macaques and providing lifetime sanctuary care. Outreach to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service regarding the implementation of the Big Cat Public Safety Act (P.L. 117-243).
