Support enactment of the Saving Access to Laboratory Services Act (S. 1000 / H.R. 2377); support delay in implementation of Medicare Clinical Laboratory Fee Schedule payment reductions and data reporting requirements under Sec. 216 of the Protecting Access to Medicare Act of 2014.

Support funding for the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Environmental Health Laboratory to "harmonize" clinical diagnostic test results and to establish pediatric reference intervals for in vitro diagnostic (IVD) tests performed on children; support enhanced funding for CDC's Advanced Molecular Detection program; monitor legislation to regulate laboratory-developed IVD tests, including the Verifying Accurate Leading-edge IVCT Development (VALID) Act (H.R. 2369); support clinical laboratory and allied health workforce enhancement initiatives, including but not limited to expansion of health workforce programs administered by the Health Resource and Services Administration, funding for the Public Health Workforce Loan Repayment Program and the Bio-Preparedness Workforce Pilot Program; support the Freedom to Invest in Tomorrow's Workforce Act (S. 722/H.R. 1477).
