Attend Capitol Hill reception for new NIH Director Monica Bertagnolli. Begin planning for Academy advocacy Hill Day and NIH program officer meetings with early career researchers. Coordinate with Rep. Eshoo office for award of Academy Gold Medal and Medical Imaging Technology Showcase room on Capitol Hill for March 2024. Send invitations for the Medical Imaging Technology Showcase to all Capitol Hill Offices. Hosted annual Medical Imaging Technology Showcase in Rayburn House Office Building. Award Academy Gold Medal to Congresswoman Anna Eshoo at Showcase. Lead cohort of early career researchers to NIH for a campus tour and discussion.

Conduct Academy advocacy Hill Day with 38 advocates conducting 60 meetings with House and Senate Offices to encourage FY25 funding for NIH at $51.303 billion, ARPA-H funding at $1.5 billion, and completion of all appropriations efforts on time to avoid disruptions to scientific research.
